Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger Sucks Pyrite!

  • Mood:
  • Finding Gold
I cannot believe that this moron would ban dredging in California!.. This screws up my whole summer and all the trips that we had planned last winter. That prick just put thousands of people out of work who rely on us prospectors to buy there equipment, food, and gold camp outings and he did this with a thoughtless stroke of a pen!....What gets me is that dredging is banned even up to the Nevada/Calif line..as if there has been a salmon up that far in over a couple of million years! I'm reading about how the   The Karuk Tribe rely on the salmon and lamprey; an eel like fish as a food source.. Come on give me a break!  This is bullshit. Bet they have a MacDonald's  in there town.

Who are the Karuk?

This small Native American tribe lives in Siskiyou and Humboldt Counties in the northwest corner of California. Most members of the tribe live in the city of Happy Camp where they continue to practice their age old customs of hunting, basket making and fishing.  Hey what about me? I'm practicing an age old custom of prospecting.

A LAW SUIT WAS FILED TODAY BY CA MINERS AGAINST THE SB 670 DREDGING BAN. THEY WILL PREVAIL. ONCE DONE, CA STATE WILL HAVE TO PAY HUGE DAMAGES TO THE 25,000 OWNERS OF UNPATENTED PLACER CLAIMS ON FEDERAL LAND IN CALIFORNIA. CLEARLY FEDERAL LAW OVER-RIDES STATE LAW.

As for all of us that paid for our permits for this year..guess what?  The state has a  screw you attitude and you will not get your fee's back!
I'm so glad that this is Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger last term.

75% of the smolts never make it out of the esturary because of bird and seal predation but because these are warm and fuzzy i guess "they"(enviro whackos)must think this loss is ok.
next is the Karuk tribe(read crook) gillnetters stringing nets from bank to bank and they arent even a recognized tribe and cannot legally fish. on the salmons trek to maturity they course into the western pacific and are scooped up by foreign trawlers.lastly calif. sells kill tickets to over 2.2 million fisherman
ok who's the problem now???

The Indians want a casino . CA wants to give it to them . Why ? Because they will pay money to the state . The state can then in turn waste this money and fall even deeper in debt . CA is $26 BILLION in debt . That's %500 million a WEEK . Shouldn't somebody have seen this coming ? Enviro groups are bankrolling the tribe in this deal . If they prevail the enviros get a win and the Indians get a casino . The only problem is FEDERAL law . Governator and his little lackeys are fixin' to get spanked BIG TIME . Then the lawsuits will start . Civil Rights , Due Process violations , theft and the list is as endless as CA's disregard for anything that doesn't have LIBERAL spray painted all over it . Let's hope that CA doesn't try to pay the judgemants with their worthless IOU's .
PARATROOPER said all that .

you would think that the socalled 'representatives would have asked their own California Attorney General advise on this move! and especialy their Govenor, after all the comments sent to him to tell him of the 1872 federal law giving the prospectors a federal right to mine without being undully restricted or harrassed.now California goes and pulls this stunt because they were pushed/advised by some enviromental groups to do so! you wonder who actually runs this state/Country! all over a gambeling hall!:(
